How To Have A More Transformative Yoni Steam

Shalom, womb sister.


I've been speaking about ways to deepen your yoni steaming practice on Instagram for over a year now, and thought it would be helpful to collate all of my suggestions into one place, so that you don't have to go rummaging through hundreds of Instagram posts to find these tips.


I don't watch TV during yoni steams...


I don't read gossip magazines while yoni steaming...


I don't talk on the phone...


I don't drink alcohol or fizzy or artificially flavoured drinks...


I don't scroll through social media...


And I don't allow anyone else into the room while steaming.



That's what I don't do.



Here's what I do do to have a mindful / intentional yoni steam:




I bless both the herbs and the water I'm using before I get started (blog posts here and here)...


I focus in on my physical womb space...


I try to picture my womb, my ovaries, my fallopian tubes, my cervix, my vagina


I place my hands over my womb in the yoni mudra and sit taking deep breaths, imaging those breaths going into and coming out of my womb



I drink warm herbal tea, cacao, or even the yoni herbs I'm steaming with...


I may visualise healing white or golden light shining onto my into my womb space, providing me with healing energy for my physical and/or emotional womb traumas...


I may visualise running clear water flowing through my womb space and into the earth's soil, clearing away any negative energy & physical matter as it flows out of my yoni...


I journal about how I'm feeling right now in that moment and how I've been feeling since my last monthly bleed...


I journal about what I want to create or experience over the coming days in my next cycle (i.e. over the next 28 day period or so)...


And, I thank God after my steam for providing us with tools such as nature to help us relax and heal...
